Winterfest: Oh what fun it is to ride…

Billy Graham Library Christmas…

Visit to experience the story of the birth of Jesus Christ with a live nativity showing the very first Christmas night. You can also enjoy some holiday experiences, like horse-drawn carriages, Christmas storytimes, live music from carolers, light displays, a large Christmas tree, holiday shopping, and more.

McAdenville is considered Christmas Town USA. A nationwide survey in 2020, for the 10 Best Public Holiday Lights Display (courtesy of USA TODAY) voted McAdenville #4 on that list. Every winter, this town in North Carolina turns into a festive wonderland with thousands of lights and dramatic displays. 

• Date: From December 1 to December 26
• Times: From 5:30 to 10:00 pm 

Brighten up the Holiday season at the Speedway Lights…

It’s one of the largest and most-anticipated holiday traditions in the Southeast. Features millions of lights around a four-mile course, with hundreds of creative displays and lights synchronized to Christmas-themed music. 

• Date: From November 19 to January 16, 2022
• Times: 6:00 to 10:00 pm
• Pricing: Tickets range from $30 to $40

Ice Skating at the Whitewater Center… 

A one-of-a-kind skating experience open to all ages and levels of experience.

• Date:  Open from mid-November through mid-February
• Times: The whitewater center is open 24 hours
• Pricing: A single-activity ticket for ice skating only is $25, however for the full experience, day passes range from $54 to $64.
